The lean operator
The lean operator
Capstone C4 dry-run (Module 15): the lean operator. This page reconciles a sample ledger. It does not call a model. 80 points at $2 is 40 points per dollar. 85 points at $20 is 4.25. 40 / 4.25 is 9.4117647059, which is 9.4 times to one decimal. An all-small run scores 32 at $1.60, 20 points per dollar, which loses to 40. Spend-alone therefore picks the cheapest run and is wrong. Score-alone picks 85. Dividing both scores by a declared $50 budget flips the ranking: 85/50 beats 80/50. The sample ledger is missing call-07. A per-call id join finds it. Daily totals do not, and a model-plus-minute bucket hides it behind call-01. Cached-rate total is 111 cents. Full input rate bills 120. Pricing cached tokens at zero bills 110. The budget is declared at timestamp 1000, before the first call at 1100. The bill is seen at 2000. Prices are an illustration. Seed 0.
