Build lab: three candidate patches all pass 4 of 4 pristine unit tests, hitting the binary-pass ceiling. A naive quality ranker that only penalizes extra diff lines and new symbols scores a 4-line leak lookup at 96 ahead of an honest 12-line rewrite at 60. Build a hardened quality ranker with pre-ranking hack disqualification so the minimal fix ranks #1 (100), the honest rewrite ranks #2 (60), and the leak is disqualified (0).
