Four kinds of memory (+ goals)
Four kinds of memory (+ goals)
Type router: a deploy engineer's agent writes 24 records over three sessions and 22 turns — 11 episodic (45.8%), 6 semantic (25.0%), 4 procedural (16.7%), 3 goals (12.5%), and all 3 goals arrive in session 3. Type is not tier: the type × tier grid fills 7 of 12 cells, 3 of 4 types span two tiers, and 13 records (54.2%) sit in a tier holding more than one type. One write verb per type — append, supersede, version, close — and the widest covers 11 of 24 (45.8%). Four integer heuristics classify 22 of 24 (91.7%) and miss two; a gate at 2 auto-routes 17 with none wrong and queues 7, two of which the router had already got wrong. Ask 12 questions of 4 stores and 15 of the 36 off-type cells return a real record of the wrong kind while none returns the right one.
